Upon acceptance of our proposal and the start of your project our first concern is the protection of your property and belongings.

1. Protection of Your Property. Because of the importance of your landscaping, and the value of your loose outside possessions, it will be necessary for your landscaping contractor to trim all landscaping around the work area establishing access and space for our craftsmen to perform the necessary preparations and apply the paint coatings to your building. Your landscaping and all adjacent surfaces such as concrete walkways and any non-movable decorations will be protected by covering with canvas drop cloths as necessary. Because of the quality and value of your possessions within your home, door handles will not be removed (though this is our preferred method), but will be masked to protect them from any splatters that sometimes occur when applying paint finishes.

2. Preparation. Any finish coating is only as sound as the surface upon which it is applied, making it necessary to wash the existing finish to ensure the subsequent coatings will adhere for an extended period of time. This will be accomplished by pressure washing and allowed to dry. Any failing existing paint will be removed using hand tools. All existing masonry surface will be coated with a sealer to ensure a high performance bond for the finish coating. The wood trim around the windows and door will be hand sanded; feathering any unsightly edges. All exposed wood will be coated with the appropriate primer. All cracks, gaps and voids will be filled with the appropriate filler compounds, i.e., caulk, spackle, elastomeric masonry patching compound.

3. Finishing Paints. Quality Commitment Painting uses only the finest painting products available to our trade, our climate and our corner of the world. We apply these products with the highest standard of craftsmanship and according to the manufacturer’s specifications guaranteeing the finest look possible for your home. This also assures you that if the product should fail the manufactures warranty, steps will be taken to correct it.

4. During the course of your painting project, all steps are taken to maintain a clean environment by removing trash daily. After completion of your project, all tools, equipment, and excess material are also be removed and disposed of with the highest concern for the common environment in which we live.
